Absolutely beautiful! A little slice of paradise!
Secluded and very very relaxing.
Very clean, great AC, comfortable bed, perfect shower.water tank in the room. Very Safe.
The staff is very very kind, Teresa is adorable and so is Federico.
the beach area is very quiet, i recommend water shoes as it is impossible to enter it barefoot due to the corals.
The sunset is breathtaking, unreal view from the bed, woke up to the sounds of the waves and birds.
Lot of wild animal life around.
Jungle cafe for breakfast and la buena vida for lunch/dinner.

Lovely small and friendly hotel. Right in the middle of the village and just a few minutes walking from the beach. The rooms are basic but comfortable, everything you need for a day or two in Akumal. The staff helped me to arrange a snorkeling trip with a great guide (it was just the two of us, much better than the bigger groups you can join on the beach) and helped with working out colectivos, etc.
Offering an outdoor lagoon pool, B&B Villa Morena EcoLiving is a eco-friendly hotel powered by solar panels. located in Akumal, only 3 km from the beachfront.

Great place for our family with a 1.5 year old. She loved the playing area and the pool, and even got two new grandmothers! Resulting in a very relaxed time for us. You should have a car when staying here.

We got a very warm welcome from the staff and given the birthday gifts. it was so lovely and cute, and made us happy.
Luckily, we were alone as a family in the area. All the square was for us only, and we were enjoying it.
The room was very clean and comfortable with two beds.
Very tasty breakfast was served in the area near a pool.
The hotel is situated in a forest, thus it was peaceful time.
The design is amazing.

What an amazing place! Where to start
... well there are so many different places to swim (lake, 3 pools, cenote) all in really beautiful surroundings. Or you can help yourself to bikes and explore the outer grounds, seeing exotic birds and iguanas, the Mayan village and the myriad of buldings, including a church. Then you can use the kayaks, paddleboards and gym, or just sunbathe on the deck by the lagoon, or perhaps take a well-earned rest on your huge bed in your room that looks like it should be in Interiors magazine. And all this after you've had a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit and Mexican scrambled eggs, served by really lovely staff (all the staff were excellent). And not to forget one of the highlights of the trip, a tour of the underwater river with the expert guide, Gonzalo. No spoilers, but it was the best tour we have ever been on, and he was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay. All these activities are included in the price, which adds to the feeling of zen - there's no hard sell, nobody telling you where you can or can't go. I would recommend going when we did - early April, after the US holidays. The weather was hot but not oppressive, and we had the place almost to ourselves.
