The sporting lodge and hotel is very clean and personel friendly .....................................................................
BUT A 16% CHARGE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD BILL is unacceptable! And with the tip added AFTER the 16% charge was also very poor form.
Be aware and ask the hotel before you book what the Extra Charges will be!
It was the first place we stayed in town and It was very unfortunate and sad to latterly be told by the other Punta Allen hoteliers, restauranteurs and barmen we were massively overcharged– 5% is the norm !
We thought we had had such a great experience at Casa Pascale until the 16% bill surplus plus tip on top experience was revealed as rudely excessive!
After Punta Allen we saw Pascale in Puerto Morelos but descided not to speak about the 16% charge especially when she was supposedly in Oaxaca.

Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico.
Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico. Not many tourists not many places like restaurants or shops. Its full of sargaso and at the moment properties cant deal with it and many of them are on the beach. But you can have nice excursions to see dolphins at the nature ,we took the fishers boat and went to see dolphins and turtles do some snorkel,kids loved it! If you are seeking an unique experience in a very special accomodation directly at the beach, being kissed good morning by the sun while still in bed and joying Anita for a morning coffee at the beach watching the sun rise - we recommend this place. Be aware that there is not 24/7 electricity and sometimes there are problems with the wifi-connection (whole town). However, the charms and relaxed way of people living in Punta Allen totally help to forget about everything and just enjoy the beautiful nature.

After falling ill with a stomach bug on the second night of our stay and experiencing multiple episodes of vomiting, their efforts were truly appreciated. We made sure to leave an extra tip as a token of our gratitude. Thank you to the cleaners - you are the true heroes of this hotel!

She was so kind and we came in on Christmas Eve to a dinner she prepared for all the guests free of charge. The manager was very helpful with finding us a tour of Sian Ka’an and directed us towards the place we could rent kayaks and go exploring on our own as well. We had such a wonderful time at this little town on the tip of this beautiful peninsula—would strongly recommend to anyone going to punta Allen.ArielUnited States
- From US$458.78 per night8.5Scored 8.5Very goodRated very good· 179 reviewswe never got to the property, because what booking doesn’t tell you is that it’s impossible to get there by normal car. you need to either get a 4x4 for the drive (and even then it takes 3.5 hours to drive the bumpy pot-holed road that leaves from Tulum) or schedule a boat which isn’t cheap and takes 2 hours. the hotel is not responsive and even when texting them in Spanish they provided automated Google translate answers that made no sense.

I arrived at night and Sonia promptly prepared me a snack for dinner. She also prepared me a wonderful breakfast every morning with fruit, eggs, tortillas, and coffee for 120 pesos. Everyone was very kind and helpful. It was a heart-warming experience and I will stay here again if I ever go back to Punta Allen.

Casa Pascale is mostly for sport fishermen but we weren't and enjoyed our time there. It's impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable. There was a good shower. There are beautiful wall paintings of various fish. It's a place with character.

You still get the dreamy hotel by the carribean sea, without the crowds. The road leading up to the hotel is an adventure in itself, but it makes you feel like you deserved your stay. The facilities are great, the beach amazing, and it was great to be able to kayak in the mangroves close to the hotel
