Situated in Bodmin, 31 km from Newquay Train Station, Bodmin Jail Hotel features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We liked the room size and the bathroom size and fixtures and the very cool architectural adaptation of the space. Everyone has done a great job and the hotel felt brand new (it is almost four years old). Breakfast buffet and menu combination was excellent and the service was cheerful. A perfect hotel experience. Also, the staff were very hospitable and helpful.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They gave us an upgrade to our room, which was amazing. The whole stay was a lovely experience.

It is centrally located, spotlessly clean. and styled beautifully. The owners really take great pride in their business and it shows. The lounge bar downstairs serves delicious food. Our host was extremely welcoming.

The rooms spacious and equiped with all the applinces and amnities for a wonderful vaccation. I will definatly come again to this " home away from home" as me and my wife called it. Richard the owner and staff were very helpful and we got very good recomondations for restaurants, and places of interest and daytrips in the whole region and beyond.

We when checked out, we were kindly offered towels to take to the beach & also allowed to leave our car in the carpark. We thought that this was above & beyond and Anne on reception that morning was exceptional! We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and the beach was amazing.
